So you're trying to build a brand online but you're finding that your efforts aren't converting to sales? Don't worry, you're certainly not alone in that struggle. Digital marketers, almost every day, breathe sighs of exasperation as it seems as though their online efforts are not gaining traction.

Here are some keys to better online branding that you might not have attempted yet.

Does your online branding work? http://www.flickr.com/photos/travel2dot0/5408326494/in/photolist-9eV63w-9eV63W-9dQd1c-9B3fUy-9B3fSj-9B3fXs-9dSZtY-9dSZwE-9dPVNi-9dPVK2-7PX3EE-dRE1Z6-dRE1XR-7QhWSg-ea1azd-cHtBju-cHty5h-cHu8U9-cHtPp3-cHu9z1-cHtHvu-cHtKsL-cHtG9s-cHu71b-cHsKV9-cHtEeA-cHtJfs-cHsPUW-cHtLKq-cHsVm5-cHsZM5-cHtNAo-cHtFwu-cHsSeU-cHsW6d-cHtCKh-cHu7w7/1. Answer questions on Twitter. You're a subject matter expert in something, right? Search Twitter and find out if people are asking questions that are specific to your discipline. Then, answer those questions in 140 characters or less. You're providing a short answer, which isn't time consuming (that is the nature of Twitter, after all) and you're advertising yourself as an expert in a particular field. If you're helpful, the person may reply "thanks" with your Twitter name in front of it. All of that person's followers will see your name!

2. Post informational YouTube videos. This reverts back to the idea that you're a subject matter expert. Demonstrate that expertise in high quality YouTube videos and let the public watch them. It's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Perhaps a video is worth much more than that, both in words and in monetary value.

3. Create an infographic. Infographics are the craze these days. They communicate salient points in an easy-to-read and succinct manner, making learning fun and easy. Hire a professional to help you with this if you're not a graphics art expert. You'll provide the content, and the graphics art expert will provide the artwork. When the infographic is completed, upload it to your blog and also to Pinterest. You might want to upload it to other social media channels as well, but Pinterest is a haven for infographics.
